Four Awesome Things About Smallville’s Wonder-Woman

At least until last years Man of Steel, the image that came to mind when many people thought of Clark Kent/Superman was that of Tom Welling throughout his portrayal on Smallville. The series – formerly the longest consecutively running sci-fi show in history – ended in 2010 with Clark finally proving himself worthy to take up the mantle of Superman and saving the world. You know, the usual.

Throughout the show’s ten year run, more and more characters from mainstream DC continuity were introduced. Aquaman, the Green Arrow, Cyborg, Martian Manhunter, and Supergirl are a few examples. But unfortunately, two major characters most people would have wanted most to see, Batman and Wonder-Woman, were never given the Smallville treatment.

That is, until recently. Smallville has been continuing its eleventh season in comic book form, and has so far introduced both Batman and Wonder-Woman. The former was not all that impressive. The latter, thankfully, was. And here are four reasons why:
